About Kanpur
Situated on the bank of sacred River Ganga, the city of Kanpur has immense
historical, religious and commercial significance. Formerly known as
Cawnpur, it is the second largest city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This
city was founded by king Hindu Singh of the erstwhile state of Sachendi.
